Of late, Lakme has come out with its genius 9 to 5 range, the products of which happen to be in every girl’s vanity or wish list.
I chose to give Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Matt Complexion Compact a shot and i have been using it for nearly 15 days. I found it available in three different shades:
Melon (for fair complexion)
Apricot (for dusky complexion)
Almond (fair-medium complexion)
Price: Rs. 350 for 8g

My take Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Matt Complexion Compact
I went for Almond shade which suited my wheatish skin tone and after using it for some time, I am especially impressed with its satiny feel and the way it spreads so evenly on my skin. I have normal to dry skin type so problem didn’t really occur much except for the fact that it did not live upto its 9 to 5 claim. You would need regular touch-ups, especially the oily skin beauties. However, it mattifies skin impressively well and you would never complain about the chalky feel. It stays on keeping your light scars at bay like you have worn just nothing. It gives medium t light coverage which would happily hide your light scars and blemishes. However, Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Matt Complexion Compact earns some minus points for not adding any SPF and its puff being such a dud.
Pros:
Matte look
Evens out skin tone
Weightless
Blends well
Has a satiny feel
The very very beautiful rosy peach packaging
Handy
Fairly priced
Cons:
The so-thin puff applicator
No SPF
Does not last 9 to 5
Not very suitable for oily, acne prone skin
Where’s the ingredient list, Lakme?
Rating: 4/5(-1 for no SPF, and the powder puff it comes with)
Will I repurchase or recommend Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Matt Complexion Compact?
For the price it comes in offering so much, it definitely should have another shot. The rose gold packaging deserves many heart-eyed emojis making Lakme’s all efforts towards it worthwhile. There’s no harm trying it once for its so many pros! J
